Hello Stranger (The Ravenels #4) by Lisa Kleypas

This book is another miss for me from The Ravenels series. I disliked most of the books except Marrying Winterborne and it’s making me sad. I expected this book to be about conspiracy and more action-packed but instead this book is just about a guy telling a girl that “We can’t see each other again because it’s too dangerous”. But they still see each other again and again and again. It was tiring for me.

Book Review: The Devil in Spring (The Ravenels #3) by Lisa Kleypas

Upon reading the prologue of the book from the end of Marrying Winterborne, I was excited to read Devil in Spring because this book features Evie and Sebastian from Devil in Winter. Devil in Winter was one of my earliest read that is in the Historical Romance genre. It was back when I was still exploring on the genre and Devil in Winter is one of the reasons why I fell in love with Historical Romance. Because of Sebastian and Evie and because I loved Marrying Winterborne, I have high expectations about this book. Unfortunately, this book did not live up to it.

Book Review: Marrying Winterborne (The Ravenels #2) by Lisa Kleypas

I absolutely loved Marrying Winterborne. Cold Hearted Rake was disappointing for me except for the subplot of Helen and Rhys so I was really excited for this book. It’s not the typical plot for historical romance where the hero of the book chases after the heroine. In this book, their relationship seems stable and the story is about their struggle to move past the obstacles they are facing.
