Monthly Wrap-Up: July 2018

Hey! Can you believe that it’s the end of July already? Time moves so fast, isn’t it? Well, here’s a post about what I have been up to this July!

What I’ve Read This July

The Ravenels Series by Lisa Kleypas

So far, I am not liking this series. Marrying Winterborne was the only book I really appreciated from these three books because I’ve only been interested in the characters of Helen and Rhys. However, Lisa Kleypas’ writing is still very good and as always, these books are steamy! Still, Kleypas’ writing style was not able to redeem the series. Cold Hearted  Rake was dull. Devil in Spring had potential but became so boring towards the end. Read more.

The Little Prince by Antoine de Saint-Exupery

I have been interested in this book in a long time so when I saw it in a local bookstore, I bought it immediately. I actually read it twice because I felt like the book deserves another exploration after the first read. Anyways, I have given this book 4 out of  5 stars and I recommend it to anyone of any age.Read my Review.

I recently celebrated my 23rd birthday. I didn’t have any grand celebrations, just a simple cake and dinner with my family. My birthday actually makes me wanna cry… read here to know why.

I will always remember this month because this is the month I finally became a furparent! We have a new puppy, she’s a bichon shih tzu and she’s so adorable! We named her Cloudy. I’ve known her for only a while but I love her so much already!

    1. Yupp. I feel like when I got older, my birthday became something that is intimate and I just want to share it with the people closest to me…
